was a crowded schoolroom on Monday when the
operetta "Lollipop Land"
(written and composed by
George
Tootell, Mus Bac. F.R.C.O.),
was
given by the teachers and the scholars of the Sunday
School. The following were the characters:

Hargreaves, E. Naylor and J. Bannister; Fairies: Misses I. Lamb, L. Harrison, O. Ray. M. Helliwell, E. Thornton, M. Claughton. K. Crabtree, A. Emmett, M. Turner, W. Farrer, E. Walker, M. Kershaw and V. Whitwell; Elves: Misses I. Powell, M. Buckle, L. Spencer, D. Jubb, E. Hicks, W. Reynold; K. Storey, B. Clayton, J. Elliot, N. Wade, C. Broadbent and B. Boocock: Bunnys: Misses P. Nash, D. Huntley?, M. Fisher and K. Ellis. The accompanist was Miss E. Broadbent. The performance was very creditably given and reflected great credit upon Miss Fisher, who had trained them. |
