Alice asks her father to give Dick a job and so he interviews him. |
Sarah, the Alderman's cook appears to greet the audience. |
Idle Jack tries to persuade the audience that he's not idle.

Sarah and Jack greet different members of the audience. |

Dick and Alice getting along well together. |
Dick is asked to lock up a valuable necklace. |
Jack is hypnotised by Queen Rat and steals the necklace. |
Dick is accused of stealing and sent away.

The rats celebrate. |

Alice is warned not to try to find Dick or go anywhere near him. |
Alice is very upset now Dick has been sent away. |
Sarah propositions the captain. |
Jack and Sarah get ready for off.

All ready for setting off on the voyage. |

The ship's crew ready for action. |
Jack has saved space by bringing a box of powdered water. The captain's not impressed. |
There are two disguised people on board, both hiding from Alderman Fitzwarren. |
Luckily one of them recues Alderman Fitzwarren when he falls overboard as the storm begins.

Queen Rat has brought on a severe storm to sink the ship. "Abandon Ship!" is the cry. |

|
Sarah, Jack, the Captain and the First Mate are under the sea. |
Look out there's a shark. |
It's already got the Captain, the First Mate and Jack but will it get Sarah? |
Dick, Alice and Alderman Fitwarren make it to shore.
|
So do Sarah and Jack and try to communicate with the local inhabitants. |

There is a princess in charge of the island. |
But there's a problem with rats. |
Tommy sorts out the rats.
|
But Dick has to finally sort out Queen Rat. |
Alderman Fitzwarren finds his wife on the island and they are re-united. |
|
|
|
|
|
The audience are asked, "Who should be the next Lord Mayor?" |
All back safely, including Mrs. Fitzwarren and the princess to celebrate Dick's appointment as Lord Mayor. |
Dick and Alice arrive at their wedding. |
All has turned out well.
|
